Long time Summer

WOW it has been a while since I posted anything on my blog. So sorry about that but it is summer time and it is always hard to do when your working and running around.

Well I have decided that I want to learn to make socks toe up and 2 at a time :) this is because I want to make my self some knee high socks. I was looking in Raverly and saw some really pretty ones and this really sparked a fire under my butt to get moving to learn a new technique with my knitting. As you can see I am still working on the Girasole Blanket for my BFF Becky and I have to say I love this pattern. Can't wait till it is finished so that i can make one for my self!

I guess I have always been one of those knitters that can only work on 2 things at a time or just 1.
I don't like having a ton of things going on at one time because I get stressed and feel like I am not getting anything done. So I just move slowly and just work on one thing at a time.

I have some pics to put on here of the Roving I bought and Drop Spinndle at Fiber Christmas I got thinking I will learn to spin. Well that is on hold since me and some friends have not been able to find someone to tech us. I will make sure and get this pics up this week.

Close up of Chart C finished. There are 320 stitches on my needle right now and I'm working on a size 60 inch cable with worsted weight yarn. I sure hope this cable will hold all of this. Its so freaking pretty :)

2nd blog Anniversary

How in the world did I miss my blog Anniversary!!!! Well over a month late but I wanted to say al least something about the time here. My blog was created on June 6th 2007. This was the best thing I ever did because it has given me a way to share all my little life happenings with family and friends.
I want to thank everyone that reads my blog and to all the sweet comments I get from time to time. I can't wait to spend another year sharing and bitching on this wonderful pink blog.

Here is what we did most of the weekend. Took almost 2 days to fill this bad boy up with water! And of coarse Cheyanne was the first one in, lol. I still have not been in it but I'm sure that will change before to long.
