This is my new bright pink 1200 yards of lace weight yarn for my Rose Leaf trellis shawl. Yes, I know I started this shawl with the Skacel lace weight variegated yarn some time ago, but the yarn just didn't work at all. The variegated yarn hide all the stitches so I had to find a solid color to knit with. I will post pics tomorrow of how this yarn is working out.

Pretty pink! Can't wait to see your progress on the shawl.
Thanks for your nice comment and question on my blog. I answered it there, but thought I would also answer it here, to be sure you would see my response:
I use a Canon PowerShot SX100 IS. I posted on my blog about it when I bought it: http://busyhsmom.blogspot.com/2008/03/finally-new-camera.html
A few tricks I have found is to use natural light as much as possible and avoid using the flash whenever you can. Also, I have Picasa, which is a free software for photo editing. I don't edit my photos much, but sometimes I do...but only to try to adjust for color accuracy or clarity.
I have found that I prefer knitting lace when the yarn is not too variegated. I am looking forward to your next cast on!
